My favourite old Ghanaian movies

old ghanaian movies

If you’re looking for something different when it comes to movies why don’t you try these? I’m not going to talk much about them. I’ll just describe them as briefly as I can and you determine if you’ll like to watch any.

NUMBER ONE: DEADLY VOYAGE

9 young men from Takoradi in Ghana stowaway in Ukranian ship. They are subjected to serious brutalities and only one survives. If you want something to cry about then here’s Deadly Voyage for you. Get submerged in an ocean of emotions with the characters in this movie. Let me give you a reason to cry harder, it’s based on a real life incident. So yes my dear, it all really happened.

NUMBER TWO: LOVE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT

love or something like that

A young woman finds out that she has HIV after recently marrying, will her husband still love her unconditionally? Find out how this heart-wrenching discovery will affect the relationship of the couple in this movie.

NUMBER THREE: A STING IN A TALE

So what about a ghost movie? Two unemployed graduates go to the city to make it big. The sacrifices they make and the obstacles they try to overcome will leave you glued to your seat. Get yourself some popcorn and make yourself comfortable as you ride along with these people on their adventure.

NUMBER FOUR: WHY MARRY

This is Ghana’s first two cast movie and it’s insanely funny. In this romantic movie, you’ll watch a couple handle their marital issues in verry different ways than normal.

This will be all, people?

What do you think about the titles?

Would you like to watch any?
